Imagine…

Imagine yourself sitting comfortably, after a tiring mountain hike. A mug of tea is in your hand, wood cracks in the hearthfire, while a pleasant warmth can be felt around. The time passes by slowly, the scenery behind the window does its magic and changes into a never-ending film screen – there are trees there, little rivers and variety of birds singing their songs. It’s cool here during summer, while the hot afternoon sun outside makes one’s trip too much tiring, it’s friendly warm, while the howling wind out there blows the rime out of the tree branches in winter...What else would a weary traveler want more during his roam? So go on! Push the door, enter our Hunting Lodge and enjoy its unique atmosphere. But beware – this place may put a spell on you – under its charm you may not want to go further! 

Film documentaries, lectures, classes

You can enjoy great documentary films, lectures about the Giant Mountains, about its flora, and fauna, the ecosystems, as well as about the most interesting history of the region. We provide you here with the possibility of acquiring maps, guidebooks (much of it goes free of charge). You can use our little shop, and more! It is a great opportunity to meet your friends here, getting to know new interesting people, an take part in didactic classes and series of scientific workshops, which are being carried out here all over the year. There are 14 beds available here (two six beds rooms, and one double room), prepared for people conducting the scientific research in the Karkonosze National Park, as well as for the participants of the mentioned workshops. To schedule an appointment you should call 607177637 or 514607299 and ask for such an opportunity within the specified time. Similarly, when it comes to group visits at the Cottage for the purpose of films watching, or participation in a lecture – please do the same. 

Educational classes offer

The hunting lodge's educational offer is addressed mostly to organized groups, in particular - school groups as well as to individual tourist. It inlcudes:

1. the Giant Mountains documentaries projection
During our opening days we provide you with nature documentaries. The days when classes are being carried out are the exception. For any information of any sort just call the following numbers: 607177637 or 514607299.
Each educational session lasts from 15 up to 60 minutes. Movies are available for both individual travelers and groups of up to 30 people.

2. Multimedia presentations
The presentations are dedicated mostly to the nature of Karkonosze. We accept small, individual groups (5 people minimum), organized groups of children and adolescents and adults (up to 25 people). Always after an appointment.

3. Educational classes carried out inside the Lodge, and at the surrounding areas.
Classes consist of two parts:
- first - covers the topic by viewing a movie, multimedia presentation or talk,
- second – a team work.

Participants use specially prepared objects, cards, games etc. Form of activity depends on the weather conditions.

How can you get here?

There are two ways:

First – take a blue hiking trail starting at the Vang stave church – and follow it for circa 1.5 hour
Second: take the green hiking trail at the foot of the Kopa Mountain chairlift – towards “Polana”, and “Dolina Pląsawy”, then change it to the blue one. (aprox. 2h walking)
