Lomniczka River flowing down the Równia pod Śnieżką, creates a series of picturesque cascades on the western wall of the cirque – known as the Łomniczka Waterfalls. In 1902 a small shelter was built below the waterfall, still – destroyed by the snow avalanche falling on it. No attempts of its rebuilding were undertaken, due to the danger of avalanches coming down. In 1986 a symbolic cemetery of the victims of the mountains was founded here.
