CHECK THE FORECAST

One of the basic things to do before visiting the Karkonosze National Park is to check the weather forecast. Although our trails does not reach too high above sea level, we should assume that the weather may still surprise us. The climate of our mountains is harsh and highly unpredictable. During a single day – you can experience most variable conditions, a sunny weather, or… a hail accompanied by heavy rain showers. During winter time the right dress and thermos with warm drinks should go hand in hand with a sincere appreciation of one's own abilities. It is also worth remembering that traditional maps can save us from losing our way. Let us not put all our trust in smartphones and applications. A smartphone may very well turn out to be entirely useless during our hike!
